Booklist Review

This is the newest volume in the PLA (Public Library Association) Results Series. It is the companion to Strategic Planning for Results (2008), in that after the plan is written, the all-important implementation phase becomes the next step. Within the chapters are tips and tools for getting the plan into action, including determining which activities effectively support goals and objectives, identifying and organizing the needed resources, and integrating changes into current operations. Nearly 20 work forms help in the process, as do figures such as Ten Rules for Brainstorming New Activities and Staff Sacred Cows Worksheet. You spent the time writing the plan.
