Wendy L. Tate, Ph.D., is Associate Professor or Supply Chain Management in the University of Tennessee, Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management. There, she teaches Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing and Service Operation at both the undergraduate and MBA levels and researches the cost impacts of business decisions across the supply chain. She has published in leading academic and practitioner journals in supply chain management and presented at many prominent events in the field. Active on the UT campus, she spent five years as faculty advisor of the student chapter of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and takes a special interest in translating academic work into classroom learning activities.
