Ann Baber comes from a family of bakers and is a talented sugarcrafter, reputed for mastering the delicate art of broderie anglaise in sugar. She also excels in folk art painting on cakes, piping and using both embossing wraps and rolling pins to create fabric effects. Ann first trained as a baker at the Cardiff College of Food Technology. She later attended Bristol University, to become a qualified teacher. Ann travels all over the United Kingdom demonstrating and teaching, and also has a stand at most sugarcraft exhibitions. She has demonstrated in over 16 countries including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India and Sweden
