From 1979 to 1999, he worked at the Educationsl Testing Service on the development of SIGI PLUS, the first career guidance system targeted towards adults. Shatkin has been a lecturer at several colleges, & his is currently a consultant with Verbal Media LLC of Titusville, NJ.
